Have to give Alex Fergerson and Arsene Wenger their dues for staying in club management and in the current clubs for so long.
Alex Fergerson have managed MU for 20 years while AW have been there for 10 years.
Special Mention need to be given to players who have been at one club for so long (Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes)
In our current society today, it seems difficult for alot of us to stay at one workplace for so long. In the olden days, as long as you are in the civil sector, most likely you will stay in a place for long. However right now with globalisation and changing of work places, very seldom you see one stay in a "club" for long.
If given a choice, how do one managed to stay in a workplace for so long? is it due to passion in the job, the familarity of the place, or just having reach a certain comfort zone one is afraid to move on to other pasturers (whether greener or otherwise)...
I always wanted to try to stay in a place for long.. but somehow i dunno why i just couldn;t (change of situations, better exposures). I know that it would not be that good for ones career but i really do not know... one part of me wanted to explore new things (maybe i am an explorer by nature) but sometimes i do want to try and keep myself grounded..... so i am always a confused individual... hahaha... (at least i can blame my star sign.. since geminis are always known to have dual personalities...)
Anyway... congrats to AF and AW for their long presence in their respective clubs... I hope that i can learn something from them in that aspect....
Fishy signing off.....
