Playing true to your origins...

no one in the world gave scotland a chance... (for crying out loud it is scotland the brave, young and not so talented against the mighty losing finalist - without ZZ - France)

When Walter smith was appointed after the fisco of Berti Vozts.. Walter believes that it is important to nuture the young and ensure that there is a set of continuity that helps to enhance the scottish game... in addition... to nurture that element, he inculcate the very ingriedent that is important to the scottish game.... "no guts no glory"..

The kind of grit that scotland have against France is so unbelievable... shots flying from left to right from TH and company but yet the scottish stand firm like "mel gibson" standing in front fearless against the enemy.. now.. that is something i enjoy watching....

Note: Scotland is in the group of death (with france and italy)

Anyway.. what i am trying to say that... the scottish boss have an vision and he tried his best to
incalcate the "no guts no glory" theory and believes in his theory... it may not have happened if the FA does not support him doing that.... unfortunately i do not see scotland qualifying from the group.. but i do hope that they keep playing true to their origins and that is what makes football truly global...

Individiual teams playing their own similar style... and that as life make individuals unique as well....
