which is important, public or bosses?

This week is the international week in football.....

Strange results happening in the past 2 days... England drew with macedonia... Spain lost to sweden, Wales trashed 5-1 by sovakia, ireland lost 5-2 to crypus and finally scotland beat france 1-0.

I am going to concentrate my observations and thoughs from the ireland and scotland game....

First up... ireland...

Strange to see a country who have lots of grit and guts fall so far behind in the footballing community.. i remember watching them playing in the 1994 world cup where they beat 1-0 to italy and send shockwaves to the rest of the world. They always believe that ireland have the rub of the green but.. sad to say they do not have it now.... one of the interesting comments from the aftermath of this match was that alot alot of journalist are asking for the head of their current coach "Steve staunaton".. partly it was because of the unspired leadership with a unspired performace to boot... but strangely when he was first appointed, he was consider the new era..... and the even strangely thing about this whole fisco was that... it is the media who are sharpening their knifes asking him to be sacked.... the whole point being that the coach is not forthcoming with the PRESS.!!!... there were no indiccation from the FA that they want to sack him now.....

I mean.. get this, people asking you to be sack because you are not approachable, friendly and due to external forces? if that is the case why do the press initially wanted him for the job?

Does this means that in the end of the day, as long as we are nice and humble (which we may or not be good in our job) we can survive in our job?...... you have to be well like by all parties... ??

History has shown that those who are successful in their jobs are those who have a vision, and they know what they are doing but i guess it is also the backing and support that they get from behind the scenes that is what makes them so important and immortal.... (think Alex fergerson, Arsene Wenger........ long servants in the game...)

Any hoot... life is such ironies... should you be well liked by all parties or just be well liked by your bosses so that they can support you......

hmmmm... fishy signing off....
